The Villuntheri 20 event marked 20 years of resilience following the 2004 tsunami, aiming to raise public awareness on disaster preparedness and resilience building. Equinox Media played a key role in shaping the event’s visual identity, coordination, and media coverage. From full branding to content creation, photography, and videography, our team ensured that the event was captured and communicated effectively across various platforms.
Approach And Methodology
Our team focused on capturing the essence of the Villuntheri 20 event through strategic planning and execution. We began by developing a cohesive visual identity, starting with logo design and branding to align with the event’s objectives. A structured media plan was implemented to ensure seamless coverage, incorporating engaging social media content, graphical posts, and videos to enhance public outreach. An original song was produced to complement the event’s theme and reinforce its message of resilience. During the event, our team meticulously documented key moments through high-quality photography and videography, ensuring comprehensive coverage. Post-event, we refined and edited the visuals, delivering polished content that effectively supported NDMA’s communication and awareness efforts.
Results and Outcomes:
NDMA was pleased with the execution of the event and the media coverage provided. The high-quality visuals and content were effectively utilized across social media and communication platforms, amplifying the message of resilience and disaster preparedness. The event successfully engaged the public and stakeholders, reinforcing the importance of disaster risk reduction in the Maldives.
